The Air, Space, and Missile Defense Association (ASMDA) was formed in 1995 in Huntsville, Alabama as a non-profit, non-political educational and scientific organization.

2025 AIE STUDENT 2025 AIE SCHOOL LETTER
Due to unavoidable schedule conflicts with the agencies that would host the students, this year’s "Adventures in Engineering” which was postponed until Spring of 2026 (tentatively March 5, 2026), will have to be rescheduled at its regular time in November 2026. Applications of Students and Chaperones that have registered will be transferred to the new date. We will allow Seniors and 11th graders to attend. Registration will now remain open until later this fall. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope everyone can still attend in Fall 2026."
