Cyber Camp Scholarship

The ASMDA Cyber Camp Scholarship gives students ages 12–14 the opportunity to attend the U.S. Cyber Academy and gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity and digital defense.

The ASMDA Cyber Camp Scholarship Program provides students ages 12–14 with the opportunity to attend the U.S. Cyber Academy at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Each year, 16 scholarships are awarded to eligible students for a one-week immersive cybersecurity camp, where participants learn essential cyber defense skills through hands-on training and real-world simulations.

Built on the successful Space Camp model, Cyber Academy introduces students to the rapidly growing field of cybersecurity and digital defense.

Applications for the Cyber Camp Scholarship must be submitted by: July 31 each year. Selected students will attend the Cyber Academy camp during fall break.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship provided by ASMDA includes:

  • One week of training at the U.S. Cyber Academy
  • Room and meals for the duration of the camp
  • Daily Cyber Academy class T-shirt
  • A $25 wristband stipend


Note:
Parents or guardians are responsible for transportation costs to and from the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Participating Organizations

Students may apply if they:

  • Are 12–14 years old
  • Are the child or grandchild of a parent, grandparent, or guardian associated with ASMDA
  • Are connected through:
    • ASMDA personal membership
    • Membership through an employer
    • Government organizations supported by Cyber Huntsville

  • Joint Functional Component Command for Integrated Missile Defense (JFCC IMD)

  • Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC)
  • NASA Marshall Space Flight Center
  • Cross Functional Teams (CFTs APNT & AMD)
  • Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
  • City of Huntsville
